I love going to the movies. I've always wanted to read movie reviews that don't bore me with tedious details like the director's name or obscure references to the original version of a remake. I guess I'll write them for myself since it doesn't appear that anyone else is going to do it. |
Erin Brockovich
Miss Roberts is wonderful. She is a delight to watch on the screen and brings just the right amount of sassiness to the role - any more would have started to grate on my nerves. (No Mary Riley here.) It's a great story about the underdog coming out on top. You might think all the good lines and scenes have been shown in the trailer or on the television commercials. Nope, there's still plenty more to go around. Aaron Eckhart plays Erin's next-door neighbor who becomes the next Mr. Brockovich. He's a Harley-Davidson riding biker that compliments Miss Roberts perfectly. Such a couple. Their babies will be beautiful. Listen to me: How could you not love a movie where Julia Roberts exclaims "I was Miss Wichita, for Christ's sake"? |
