Brooke entered her office at Forrester Creations and was attacked by Thorne who had been hiding behind the door. Thorne expressed his "need" for Brooke. Thorne forcefully stated that he and Bridget were going to sit down, talk and solve their problem that very night. Brooke said she could not allow that. She had to be sensitive and responsible to Bridget's feelings. Thorne said he was going crazy not being able to "be with" Brooke. (Just say it Thorne, you're horny!) Brooke locked the door to her office and slowly unbuttoned her blouse for an aroused Thorne. (I guess this as good a time as any to mention that Brooke was wearing a blouse that I'd expect to see on a lap dancer! The CEO of a major company was wearing a see-through black blouse! At least her hair had been taken out of it's Klingon-style hair-do.) Thorne was all over Brooke when Megan buzzed the office to remind Brooke of an important meeting. (Nookie Interuptus!) Thorne was frustrated and told Brooke he was going out of his mind.

At the Insomnia Coffee House, Kimberly imagined sitting with Thorne in a corner booth and making out. Her pleasant day dream was interrupted by Bridget. At Kimberly's questioning, Bridget confirmed that Thorne had not spent the night at Brooke's house. Bridget planned to move out if Thorne moved in, however. Kimberly told Bridget that she had to continue to stand her ground. As long as Bridget lived in Brooke's house, Kimberly was certain Thorne would not move in. Bridget figured there had to be plenty of other women that would be interested in Thorne. Kimberly confirmed that she knew of one lady that was very interested in Thorne. (Oh, who could it be, Kimberly?) Kimberly told Bridget she would think of a plan to keep Thorne and Brooke apart. Bridget thanked Kimberly for her support and left. Kimberly told herself she had to make a move that night.

At little later, Kimberly noticed Thorne come into Insomnia. Thorne told himself he needed a cold shower more than he needed coffee. Kimberly asked Scott, the DJ, to play a tape for her because she wanted to sing a song for her special man. When Kimberly pointed out Thorne to Scott, Scott asked, "How old is he?" (At last, a man of reason on this program.) "Old enough for me" was Kimberly's reply. Kimberly then did her very best Christina Aguilera impression. (Can't these young girls just hit a note instead of fluttering all around it?) Kimberly sang some insipid song thanking Thorne for standing by her and for being "the one." Thorne smiled a like a big ol' horn dog through the number. When she was finished, Scott returned Kimberly's ever-ready kareoke tape and told her to be careful. (You know this sensible guy won't last long on this soap.)

At the seedy apartment, Amber made breakfast for CJ. The talked about how happy they were. CJ wasn't pleased that Amber had felt compelled to plead guilty to the drug charges, but he was impressed that her only concern had been Little Eric. Amber confirmed that she had plead guilty for the baby's sake and the three of them could now move on with their lives.

Over at Forrester Creations, Stephanie wanted to plan a barbecue around the pool and invite Amber and Little Eric. Rick and Eric were then forced to fill Stephanie in on Amber's drug conviction. Stephanie was shocked at the news and angry they had kept the truth from her. The three agreed that Little Eric should not be raised in such an environment. Eric wanted to sue for custody of the baby. Stephanie and Rick convinced him that Little Eric would be better off with Amber. Stephanie asked if Rick still wanted Amber and the baby to live in the Forrester guest house. Rick replied that would be a perfect idea.

The three Forresters arrived at the seedy apartment. Amber invited them in and explained CJ had gone to visit his mother. Stephanie minced no words and told Amber she was stupid for having allowed drugs to be brought into the apartment with the baby. Amber promised it wouldn't happen again. Stephanie announced she was there to make sure it didn't happen again!

You go, Stephanie!

The Bold and the Beautiful was not broadcast today because of CBS's coverage of the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. I'm sure it was very interesting and exciting if you're into that kind of thing, but can it hold a candle to Kimberly chasing after Thorne, a man twice her age? I think not!

Episode Date: Tuesday, September 5, 2000

At Insomnia, the crowd went wild for Kimberly's vocal stylings. Thorne told Kimberly he was blown away….by the fact she could sing. Kimberly was disappointed Thorne didn't get the message of her song. She told him the song thanked him for being there for her. Thorne smiled, said "Thanks for the song, kiddo", and left. Scott, the DJ, noticed Kimberly was down in the dumps. Scott said it was obvious Kimberly had a crush on a man twice her age and advised her to be careful. Kimberly said it was more than a crush.

Kimberly followed Thorne home and entered his house (uninvited) through the sliding patio doors. (Can you say stalker?) She told Thorne she had something very important to tell him. Kimberly thanked Thorne for helping her deal with Macy's death She said he had helped her become the woman she was today. Although, Kimberly thought she was telling Thorne about her feelings, he wasn't getting it. (What a surprise! She doesn't really say how she feels and he doesn't read her mind.) Kimberly then told Thorne she was in love with an older man. Thorne asked if the man felt the same way. Kimberly said she had tried to tell the object of her affection, but he always said she was "sweet" or called her a "kid." Thorne started to put the puzzle together. As she placed her palms on Thorne's bare pectorals (where else would she put them?), Kimberly told Thorne that she loved him! Thorne was flabbergasted.

At Spectra Fashions, CJ explained to Sally why Amber had plead guilty to the drug charges. He said Amber had done it to protect her family. Upon Sally's inquiry, CJ admitted that he was in love with Amber. Becky had known they would be perfect for each another. CJ wondered if it was too soon after Becky's death to have feelings for another woman. Sally thought CJ should follow his heart and offered her support. CJ told his mother about Rick making trouble for them by wanting to take over raising Little Eric. CJ explained that the Forresters didn't care what Becky wanted for her son, they only cared about getting their way. Sally wondered if Amber would give in to the Forresters' pressure. CJ was confident Amber was committed to him. Sally insisted CJ and Amber call her if they needed any kind of help. She only wanted her son to be happy. CJ had to leave to care for Little Eric while Amber went to drug school.

Meanwhile, at the seedy apartment, Amber explained to Stephanie, Eric and Rick why she had plead guilty to the drug charges. She didn't want risk going to jail and being away from Little Eric. Upon questioning from the Forresters, Amber admitted she had not figured out how she and CJ would juggle two jobs, his school, her community service and drug school while caring for the baby. Stephanie suggested Amber and the baby move back into the Forrester guest house. Although they tried to persuade her, Amber said she would not walk out on CJ. Stephanie asked if Amber and CJ were involved. Amber said they were starting to have feelings for each other. As the Forresters continued to bribe Amber with all the wonderful offerings the Forrester estate would offer, Amber said she had to get ready for drug school. CJ was supposed to be home to care for Little Eric so she could leave. Eric and Rick suggested they give Amber a ride to drug school and they would care for Little Eric at the Forrester mansion until she was finished. Since it was getting late and Amber couldn't miss her first class, Amber reluctantly agreed and left with Eric and Rick. Stephanie stayed at the seedy apartment to pick up Little Eric's diaper bag and leave a note for CJ.

But CJ arrived before Stephanie left. He asked where Amber and the baby were. Stephanie explained they were at her house and they were going to stay there! (I don't think Amber agreed to that arrangement, Missy!)

Episode Date: Wendesday, September 6, 2000

At the beach bungalow, Thorne asked how Kimberly thought she loved him. Kimberly replied that she loved him like she had never loved anyone before. She tried to kiss him, but Thorne pulled away. Thorne told Kimberly that she was confused. They had been brought close by Macy's death, but he explained that nothing romantic could happen between them. Thorne said he was a man and she was a girl. On top of their age difference, he was also in love with Brooke. Kimberly cried that Brooke didn't understand him the way she did. Kimberly said they belonged together. Thorne gently told Kimberly that it was not going to happen between them. He promised to be there as a friend, but she had to get over this fantasy. He was confident she would find an appropriate man to love her someday. Their conversation was interrupted by Brooke calling. She was in her car outside Thorne's bungalow and ready for some action! By the time Brooke got to the front door, Kimberly had fled through the patio doors.

Brooke and Thorne were like a couple of teen-agers. As they made out on the couch, Kimberly viewed them from her deck with a pair of binoculars. (Hello! Stalker! Big time!) Kimberly muttered that Thorne was too good for Brooke as she dialed Bridget's number. Bridget didn't believe that her mother was with Thorne. Brooke had promised to stay away from him. Kimberly suggested that Bridget come over and see for herself. (Not only a stalker, but also a trouble-maker.)

At the Forrester mansion, Amber wanted to call CJ and let him know that Little Eric was staying with the Forresters for a couple of hours while she was at drug school. Eric, however, was tying up the telephone having the family lawyer, Jonathon, get Amber excused from the class for one night. Eric explained that Amber had been through a lot and needed to rest. Amber still wanted to call CJ and let him know she was on her way home, but Eric and Rick convinced her to relax and stay awhile. Rick showed Amber a picture taken when he, Amber and Little Eric were a family. Amber noticed how much Little Eric had grown since the photo. Rick agreed and said the next time he saw the baby, he'd probably be reading or playing baseball. (Ha! A little self-deprecating soap opera humor, there. I think Little Eric will probably be 15 the next time we see him.) Rick told Amber how much he missed being a part of the baby's life. As he reminisced about their life together, Rick said he didn't want just Little Eric back in his life, he also wanted Amber. Rick took Amber's hand, but she pulled it away. Rick asked if her reaction had to do with her feelings for CJ. Amber said she didn't want to get into that subject. Rick didn't want to talk about it either. He only wanted to bet back with Amber and Little Eric - just like old times.

Meanwhile, at the seedy apartment, Stephanie told CJ that Amber and Little Eric belonged at her house. As CJ protested, Stephanie explained that the issue was not about CJ, but about what was best for the baby. He needed more than Amber and CJ could provide for him. Stephanie was clear that she wasn't saying CJ wasn't good enough to be the baby's father, but that he was simply in over his head. CJ said there as nothing he wouldn't do for Little Eric. Stephanie asked him to prove it by letting the baby live at the Forrester estate. CJ yelled that no one was going to separate the family he and Amber were building. He continued that Becky had wanted her son to live with CJ and Amber and to be loved and safe. At the mention of safety, Stephanie exploded and said he had let drug dealers into the house with the baby. Becky would not have approved of that. Stephanie said that both Becky and Amber knew that Little Eric's best interests would be served by him living at the Forrester mansion. CJ reminded Stephanie that only six months ago, the loving Forrester family had thrown Amber out in the street. Stephanie said CJ had his chance to prove he could be a responsible parent and he blew it. She said the Forresters were going to raise Little Eric. CJ countered by saying he was sick of the Forresters telling everyone what to do. He threw Little Eric's diaper bag on the floor (such a dramatic gesture) and screamed that he was going to retrieve Amber and his son and the Forresters would never see the baby again!

Now do you think Stephanie is really going to allow that to happen? If so, lather, rinse, repeat, and think again.

Thorne and Brooke continued to make out on the beach bungalow couch. Brooke wanted to get right to some hot sex, but Thorne wanted to make the moment last. Brooke said she could not spend the night because Bridget was home alone. Kimberly watched the action through her binoculars. (That's just sick) and spoke to Bridget on the phone. Kimberly told Brooke's daughter she had better get to Thorne's pronto to break up the couple.

Thorne and Brooke continued to go at it. He wanted to tell the world about their relationship, but Brooke said they needed to deal with Bridget first. Brooke stripped to her red underwear and did a seductive dance for Thorne. Just as she was about to attack, Bridget pounded on the front door and demanded to be let in. Brooke hid in the bedroom as Thorne let Bridget in. Thorne tried to pretend that Brooke wasn't there, but Bridget discovered Brooke's dress on the floor. Brooke was forced to emerge from the other room. Bridget said Brooke betrayed her. Brooke said she had not agreed to stay away from Thorne. She had only said she would not have Thorne over to the house. As Thorne and Brooke tried to explain their love, Bridget told them to shutup! (Ouch!) Bridget said they were acting like sex starved teenagers. Brooke demanded some respect. Bridget said she loved Brooke but was ashamed to be her daughter. Brooke was stricken to the core and decided to take Brooke home. Poor Thorne was left alone - horny and bewildered.

Kimberly had watched the entire scene through her binoculars and called Thorne immediately after Brooke left. She told Thorne she wanted to discuss her love for him. Thorne said he was willing to talk but not right now. After Thorne hung up the phone, Kimberly told herself Thorne would have to face her as the woman that was in love with him.

At the seedy apartment, CJ told Stephanie he was through talking and he was going to the Forrester mansion to retrieve his won. He said he would not allow Little Eric to be raised by the family that killed his sister, Macy.

Over at the Forrester place, Amber complained that Rick was putting her on the spot. Rick apologized as Eric took a call from Stephanie telling him that CJ was on his way over to get the baby. Helen took Little Eric to the study and Rick wanted to take Amber to the guest house to look at photos of Venice. Amber was about to give in when CJ stormed through the door and demanded to know where his won was. CJ told Amber that the Forresters had tricked her. They were planning to bribe her to get to stay with them and get Little Eric. Amber was dubious and asked Rick if CJ's accusations were true. Stephanie arrived and CJ accused La Forrester of calling CJ and Amber bad parents. Stephanie said she had been honest in her opinions of the drug bust. CJ and Rick argued about "their" son. Amber pointed out that Little Eric was Becky's son. Eric said CJ had his chance to prove he could be a good parent and had blown it. Amber summoned Helen from the study. CJ took Little Eric and told the Forresters they were never going to see him again. Amber reluctantly followed him out the door.

After they were gone, Rick told Eric and Stephanie that he didn't care what it took. He was going to get his son back.

It's a new day and a new start for intrigue and trauma!

At the Forrester mansion, Rick told Eric and Stephanie that he didn't think CJ's temper was a good influence for Little Eric. Stephanie said she thought Amber seemed truly devoted to CJ, but Rick said CJ was simply manipulating Amber. Eric was also concerned about CJ's behavior and said it might be time to contact a lawyer. CJ had physical custody of the baby and the Forresters had no legal claim to the child. Rick told his father to wait before taking that step. He intended to talk to Amber.

Meanwhile, at the seedy apartment, CJ returned from class. He and Amber argued about her allowing the Forresters to take her to the mansion the previous evening. Amber said the Forresters were only trying to help. They loved Little Eric. There was no need to shut them out. CJ said he understood how the Forresters operated. He said they were good friends as long as you did things their way. CJ asked why Eric couldn't have called from the seedy apartment to get Amber excused from the drug class. Amber called CJ paranoid. CJ said Amber was naive. He asked if the Forresters would have anything to do with her if she didn't have Little Eric. Amber said no one was playing her for a fool. CJ pointed out that Amber seemed very comfortable at the Forrester mansion. Amber pointed out that Rick had been there to care for Little Eric when CJ was late. CJ got mad and stormed out of the apartment.

Amber regretted the argument and, when there was a knock on the door, hoped it was CJ. But hey! It was Rick. As she started to speak, Rick told her there was no reason to apologize for CJ's actions. Amber explained that CJ didn't trust the Forresters. Rick said he didn't trust CJ either, but he had come to talk about his own relationship with Amber. She was surprised that he even considered their relationship. Rick told Amber that he often wondered what they could have had if they hadn't have rushed their relationship. He told her it might not be too late to find out. Amber looked dubious.

At the beach, Thorne returned from a run. (He wasn't wearing a shirt. Go figure!) Brooke called and told Thorne that Bridget needed patience and understanding to deal with their relationship. Thorne forcefully disagreed and said they had to sit and talk it out with Bridget. Brooke ended the conversation when Kimberly entered her office.

Kimberly told Brooke that she wanted to return to modeling. What a coincidence! They were planning a photo shoot for the very day and Kimberly would be the perfect model. (I can understand that. Los Angeles has to very few beautiful women for photo shoots.) Kimberly said she had been through a lot and needed special treatment. She demanded a closed set. She also requested Thorne direct the shoot since he understood everything she had been through. Finally, Kimberly requested the photo shoot take place at her beach house. Brooke had to rearrange everything but agreed. (Of course she did. Most CEOs allow teen-age models to make business decisions for them.) Giovanni (you remember him, right?) entered the office and was pleased to be working with Kimberly again. (Gio was looking mighty fine with some new, longer hair action going on.) Kimberly left for home to prepare.

Back at the beach, Thorne waxed his surfboard. (He had changed his shorts, but still wasn't wearing a shirt!) He saw Kimberly emerge onto her deck. He recalled her confession of love and was entranced by her bodacious curves and skimpy bikini. Brooke called again and told Thorne about Kimberly's request for him to direct the photo shoot. Remembering Kimberly's feelings for him, Thorne didn't think it was such a good idea. But Brooke was persistent and Thorne agreed.

Alone on her deck, Kimberly told herself that Thorne was going to see a whole new side of her. (In that outfit, honey, Thorne might se several new sides of you.)

Episode Date: Tuesday, September 12, 2000

At the seedy apartment, Amber questioned Rick's motive for wanting her back in his life. She asked if he was afraid of loosing Little Eric. Rick said he missed her and the life they had shared together. She admitted they had some good times. Rick said he wanted to have those times again. Amber confessed that she wasn't sure that was what she wanted. Rick told Amber that she and CJ were not a good couple. He said CJ was on the rebound. Obviously, Little Eric adored CJ and that would make it hard on the baby when CJ and Amber broke up. Rick pointed out that Amber tended to rush things. CJ missed Becky and Amber missed being part of a family. Rick said that was not enough to give to Little Eric. Rick asked Amber to think about what he had said. He kissed her on the forehead and left.

A little later, CJ returned to the seedy apartment. He apologized for getting angry and taking off. Amber said she was not the enemy. CJ realized that but said he felt Amber slipping away. Amber replied that she was not going anywhere. CJ sadly stated that the people he loved kept disappearing. Amber hugged CJ and told him she understood. CJ replied that his behavior was not fair to her. He said he should trust her but it scared him how much he loved her. Amber was taken aback by CJ's profession of love. He assured her his feelings were sincere and they kissed noisily.

Over at Forrester Creations, Stephanie entered Brooke's office and told the CEO about Rick's decision to ask Amber and Little Eric to move back into the guest house. Stephanie was certain that Brooke knew nothing about Rick's life since she was more concerned about her own. Brooke retorted that although she didn't approve of Rick's decision, she would never disown him like Stephanie had disowned Thorne. Stephanie got the last dig by saying Eric had spoken of how Bridget might be living at the Forrester mansion as well. Stephanie sniped that Brooke's parenting skills were as great as ever as she left the office.

Out on the beach, Kimberly pranced around in tiny swim wear and lip synched to Miss Christine's Aguilera's "Come On Over (All I Want Is You)" as Giovanni snapped some photographs. Kimberly donned her best "come hither" looks and pouty faces. Thorne noticed her enticing antics. During a break in the shooting, Thorne told Kimberly that he knew what she was doing. Kimberly replied that since she was "just a kid", she didn't know what he was talking about. The shoot resumed with Kimberly in the tiniest bikini yet. She became distracted when Thorne wasn't paying attention to her. Giovanni told her to pretend she was trying to lure the man of her dreams to her. Kimberly reached for the sun tanning oil and suggestively lotioned up her breasts! When she went so far as to begin to remove her swim suit top, Thorne called a halt to the photo shoot. Thorne told Kimberly he got the point. He stated that she was a beautiful woman and nothing like a girl. He apologized for having ever said such a thing. He told the model she had nothing to prove. Kimberly replied, "No, but you do. You are going to have to prove to me that you don't want to take this any further because up to now….." Kimberly looked at Thorne's crotch and continued "….all the evidence points otherwise."

As if that wasn't risqué enough, Kimberly walked off and Thorne looked down at his pants and smirked. (So let's get this straight! Thorne was so turned on by Kimberly's seduction that he got a woody. Kimberly pointed it out and Thorne had to make a visual check to see if her statement was true. Mr. Smartypants happens to know a thing or two about such situations and if a man needs to check on his erection, then he probably doesn't have one. That's all I'm going to say.)

As Kimberly changed into yet another trashy outfit, Thorne told her a man would have to be dead not to find her attractive but he didn't want to take advantage of her vulnerability and he didn't want to screw up his relationship with Brooke. Kimberly replied that he couldn't take advantage of her and Brooke had not given him anything lately but excuses.

Speak of the devil, Brooke then called to check on the photo shoot. Thorne told her he had made reservations for them at the Café Ruse. Brooke backed out of the date they had planned because she had promised to spend time with Bridget. Thorne got angry and hung up on his paramour. As Kimberly walked in front of the camera, she invited Thorne over for dinner at her place after she was done modeling

Thorne watched the beautiful young lass on the windswept beach. He started to drool from the sides of his mouth - and don't think it was the promise of pork chops and applesauce from Kimberly's kitchen.

Episode Date: Wendesday, September 13, 2000

At Forrester Creations, Taylor and Ridge chatted in his office. Taylor said she felt sorry for Morgan having a child on her own. She was also curious about the baby's father. Ridge said he wanted to stay as far away from Morgan as possible. Apparently, Morgan had been listening at the door. She barged into the office and said she was ready to tell Taylor the truth. Ridge was obviously antsy, but Morgan forged ahead. Morgan told Taylor she was her best friend. Taylor assured Morgan that she and Ridge would not think less of her no matter who was the father of her child. Morgan then lied that she had indeed gotten pregnant through artificial insemination while Taylor had been out of town. Taylor was shocked and wondered why Morgan had denied that very story weeks ago. Morgan lied that she had wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret from Stephanie. Then Clarke had offered to take responsibility for the child and help her raise it. Morgan considered his offer but turned him down. Morgan apologized for her snowballing lies. Taylor admitted she had taken Morgan at her word and was disappointed to have been lied to. Morgan promised to tell the truth in the future. Taylor said they didn't need to talk about the situation any further. She hugged Morgan in support and left the office.

Alone with Morgan, Ridge wondered how he would be able to keep the secret from Taylor forever. Morgan told Ridge to quit whining. She suggested Ridge should, in fact, thank her. Morgan pointed out that she had the ability to ruin his marriage but she didn't plan to do that. Morgan told Ridge that she loved him and she would never do anything to hurt him. As Morgan left his office, Ridge developed a pained look on his face. It must have been those rancid Coco Puffs he had for breakfast.

At home, Bridget suggested she and Brooke go to Insomnia for dinner. Brooke thought that was a bad idea since CJ now ran the coffee house and he wasn't too fond of Brooke. Bridget figured out that CJ knew about Brooke and Thorne and found the relationship as disgusting as she did. Brooke told her daughter not to worry about what other people might think. Bridget pointed out that such scandal never died down. "You're entering Monica Lewinsky territory now" Bridget snarled. Bridget said she loved Thorne as a brother, but not as a step-father. She said the Thorne she knew would be more considerate of her feelings. Brooke got angry and said Thorne may have been too considerate of Bridget's feelings. Brooke insisted she and Thorne were going to be together whether Bridget like it or not. Bridget then said Brooke obviously didn't care how she felt. Brooke was simply waiting for her to change her mind. Brooke said she loved Bridget very much but she couldn't let her daughter make decisions for her that would effect the rest of her life. Bridge stormed out of the house.

On the deck of Kimberly's beach house, Thorne shared some proofs of the photo shoot with the young model. Kimberly' liked the shots and thanked Thorne for helping her through Macy's death and making her smile again. Thorne told Kimberly that he worried she was mistaking gratitude for love. Kimberly assured him that she knew the difference. Thorne said he loved Kimberly, but as a friend. Kimberly reminded Thorne that he and Brooke had once been only friends. Thorne admitted that was true but she was not half his age and he was in love with her now. Kimberly argued that Brooke was not committed to Thorne. She was always putting something or someone else in front of him. Thorne told Kimberly that she had to give up on the idea of them being a couple. She had to accept his relationship with Brooke.

As Thorne said those words, he gently brushed Kimberly's cheek and stroked her shoulders. He even bent forward and kissed her on the cheek. Now you remember that Bridget had stormed out of Brooke's house. You wanna know where she went? Well, apparently for a walk on the beach. And how coincidental she should be passing by Kimberly's deck just in time to see Thorne's show of affection. Bridget was shocked by the sight and wondered if Thorne and Kimberly were a couple.

Episode Date: Thursday, September 14, 2000

Amber was working the lunch shift at Café Ruse. Rick arrived and asked her to join him at his table during her break. Amber sat down and told Rick she didn't appreciate the game he was playing. She guessed that he didn't really care about her. She felt his interest was only in Little Eric. Rick protested that he really did care about Amber. Amber reminded Rick that he wasn't interested in her when Becky had reclaimed the baby. Rick admitted he was angry, but now he wanted Amber back. Amber told Rick that she had a man that truly cared for her and Rick was only a temptation. They were from two different worlds and he could never be truly happy with someone like her. Rick said he had been happy with Amber. Amber complained that she had wanted to hear those words so many times in the past. She asked him to admit that he really was just after Little Eric. She said his charade of caring for her was degrading. Rick said he wasn't acting. He was sorry for the trauma he was causing in her life. Amber replied that she, CJ and Little Eric were family now. She felt that was best for the baby. Rick angrily asked if she thought Little Eric was better off in "that slum." Amber stormed off and Rick followed. He apologized for his rude remark. Amber said children needed more than swimming pools and money. She planned to raised Little Eric in the slums with the "real people." Rick realized he had made an awful mistake.

Bridget watched as Kimberly and Thorne said good bye. Thorne kissed Kimberly on the forehead and left. Bridget approached Kimberly and asked what was going on. She could see that Thorne and Kimberly were involved. Bridget was angry and accused Kimberly of only giving her advice to help her own cause with Thorne. Bridget felt Kimberly took advantage of her. Kimberly admitted that she was in love with Thorne, but she would try to keep him away from Brooke even if she didn't have feelings for him. Kimberly pointed out that they could help each other out. Bridget agreed, but wondered if Kimberly was only trying to get back at Brooke. Kimberly denied the accusation and told Bridget she would understand one day. "I hope not" was Bridget's reply.

When Thorne arrived home, he called Brooke. She was on her way to talk to Taylor about Bridget accepting their relationship. Thorne told Brooke he was at the end of his rope. They had waited long enough. Brooke promised they would go public with their relationship the very next day.

Brooke went to Taylor's house and told her how Bridget was not willing to accept Brooke's relationship with Thorne. Taylor surmised Bridget's resistance had little to do with Thorne and everything to do with Brooke. She said Bridget was just becoming a woman and needed her mother as a role model. She was also still a young girl and needed to be reassured she was the most important person in Brooke's life. Taylor suggested Brooke spend a lot of quality time with Bridget to reinforce the bond they shared. Taylor suggested a vacation for the two of them. Brooke thought it was a good idea, but said she and Thorne were planning to go public with their relationship the next day. Brooke wanted a romance with Thorne, but she also loved her daughter. Taylor said she could not make the decision for Brooke. Brooke said she had already decided.

Back on Kimberly's deck, Bridget worried there wasn't enough time for Kimberly to make a move on Thorne. She was certain Brooke would choose him over her own daughter. But Brooke called Bridget on her cell phone and suggested just the two of them take a trip to Hawaii. They could leave that very evening! Bridget was ecstatic to hear the news. Before she left to pack, Bridget told Kimberly her mother was really trying to understand her feelings. Kimberly was also happy that Brooke would be out of town. "By the time you get back, Thorne will be mine" Kimberly promised.

Yawn! What a dull day. We need another double entendre-laden fashion shoot.

Episode Date: Friday, September 15, 2000

At the seedy apartment, CJ told Sally about the Forresters insisting Little Eric and Amber come live with them. Sally said she wouldn't put anything past the Forrester family. Amber returned from a walk with Little Eric. Sally told Amber that she knew what it was like to fight against the Forresters and she would be happy to give her some pointers. Amber said she didn't want any hassles with her former in-laws. CJ said it was too late. He suspected they were plotting how to steal Little Eric at that very minute. (You are correct, sir!) Sally said the baby's legal last name was Forrester. The entire clan considered him one of their own. Sally told Amber to be ready because the Forresters would certainly put up a fight.

Meanwhile, over at the Forrester mansion, Stephanie and Eric talked with their lawyer, Jonathan, about finding a way to get Amber and Little Eric to move back to their house. Jonathan suggested Rick simply try and convince Amber that would be the best thing for the baby. Just then, Rick returned from his mission at Café Ruse. He let them all know that Amber was stubborn and didn't want to move back to the Forrester compound. Stephanie explained that Becky had left a video tape requesting that CJ and Amber raise Little Eric, but no formal custody had been assigned. Jonathan said it was in the child's best interest to have a legal guardian. Rick said he didn't want to put Amber through a custody battle. Jonathan said he knew a judge that might want to see Little Eric back with the Forresters. Jonathan would approach the judge with the issue of giving the baby a legal guardian. He was sure the judge would want Amber and the baby to be under the wing of the Forrester family instead of Little Eric being raised by two young, working adults in a bad neighborhood. Eric, Stephanie and Rick all stared at each other in the disbelief this was the best Friday cliff hanger the writers could come up with.

Bridget and Brooke rode in a limousine to the airport on their way to Hawaii. Bridget was excited about spending quality time with her mother. They stopped at the beach so Brooke could break the news to Thorne.

Brooke went to Thorne's beach bungalow. He was ecstatic to see her and kept telling her how happy he was that they would be going public with their romance the following day. Brooke burst his bubble and explained that she and Bridget were going to Hawaii to bond. Thorne was upset and told Brooke he couldn't wait any longer. He thought they had to earn Bridget's trust together. Brooke said she had to make sure her daughter knew she was the main priority in her life. Thorne yelled that the trip was a mistake and he didn't want Brooke to go.

As they argued, Bridget went to visit Kimberly next door. Bridget told Kimberly that Brooke was telling Thorne about their trip and it was now up to Kimberly's to keep Thorne and Brooke apart permanently. Kimberly assured Bridget that she would make it happen. The two girls watched Thorne and Brooke's argument through Kimberly's stalking binoculars. Kimberly told Bridget that she was in love with Thorne. She only cared about his happiness. Kimberly was certain that Brooke would cause him only misery and heartache. (No offense, Bridget.) Kimberly knew that her plan would work for everyone.

At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie showed Jonathan out as Rick said he wasn't sure how handle the custody situation. Eric held a document and said that since Amber had been convicted of a felony, the paper gave Stephanie the authority of Little Eric's well-being. (WHAT!?! When did that happen? Where did it come from? Answer me, dammit!) Eric said he was certain Amber and CJ were not responsible parents, but Stephanie said the baby's future was in her hands and she had to be sure of her decision. She did not want it to be based solely on emotions. Stephanie left to visit CJ and Amber at the seedy apartment.

Stephanie arrived at the seedy apartment and found Little Eric with the baby sitter, Rosa. Rosa spoke very little English. (Stephanie conversed fluently in Spanish. She will never cease to amaze me.) Rosa assumed Stephanie was Little Eric's grandmother and left the baby in her care. Stephanie didn't like the fact that Rosa had left the child with someone she didn't know. Stephanie was appalled at the condition of the apartment. She found a dangerously faulty electrical outlet, a broken window that Little Eric could fall from, small objects on the floor he could choke on and peeling lead paint! ( I've always said it was seedy.) CJ returned and was not pleased to find Stephanie there. They argued. Stephanie pointed out that Rosa was not a fit baby sitter. She also told CJ about the problems with the apartment. CJ didn't want Stephanie's advice and told her to leave. Stephanie asked CJ to calm down and to promise her to work on the apartment to make if child-proof. CJ replied that he intended to child-proof the apartment by throwing her out of it! That really made Stephanie mad. She told him she was taking Little Eric with her. "Over my dead body" was CJ's reply. Stephanie said that could be arranged. Stephanie said she was serious and she was going to have Little Eric removed from the seedy apartment.

Meanwhile, over the Atlantic Ocean, Bridget and Brooke flew to Hawaii in the Forrester jet. Bridget told her mother how much this time together meant to her. Brooke said that nothing and no one meant more to her than her children. Alone, Bridget told herself that she would never accept her mother's relationship with Thorne. She was counting on Kimberly to capture Thorne's interest. Later, as Bridget napped, Brooke gazed at a photo of Thorne and hoped he would be patient.

But back at the beach bungalow, Kimberly approached Thorne's deck and found him drowning his sorrows in liquor. Kimberly chastised him and told him she would not lose him the way she had lost her sister to alcohol. Thorne said he had been certain he and Brooke would be together by now. Kimberly told Thorne he had lost his family, job and wife because of Brooke. She begged him not to lose his self-respect too. Thorne said he was upset that Bridget wouldn't even consider talking to him. Kimberly said Bridget had a right to be upset. The point was that Thorne was suffering needlessly. Kimberly said he had made it clear he was not attracted to her, but there was a special woman in the world that would make him happy. She could tell that Thorne was starting to realize Brooke was not the woman for him. All he had to show for his relationship with Brooke was heartache. If things continued, Bridget would be miserable. That would make Brooke miserable and everyone would be unhappy.

Kimberly made one last plea for her case. She knew the idea of the two of them together sounded crazy. She was, after all, Macy's half-sister (oh yeah, that's right) and a 19 year-old virgin. (Thanks for sharing, dear.) Kimberly was sure she could make Thorne happy. She took his hand and caressed it to her cheek. (Why? Beats the heck out of me.) Thorne looked wistfully at the 19 year-old virgin.

"Do it now, Thorne. Break your heart away from Brooke. Give it to me. I'm ready, Thorne. Give it to me" Kimberly pleaded. (What exactly is she ready for and what does she want him to give her? Mr. Smartypants could comment, but my silence will indeed speak volumes.)

Episode Date: Tuesday, September 19, 2000

On Thorne's deck, Kimberly continued to try and convince the stud to give her a chance. (She continued that silly hand caressing ritual. What did she think that was going to accomplish?) She insisted that she wouldn't let Thorne push her away. She could feel his heart racing. Kimberly said she felt the same way anytime he was near. Thorne told Kimberly she was beautiful, but he was confused because he didn't know how to get through to her. He agreed they had a connection, but it wasn't sexual. Kimberly said her love for Thorne went much deeper than sex. Thorne said he didn't want to hurt Kimberly. She felt he just needed more time. She said her feelings would not change. She was sure Thorne would soon realize that Brooke was not what he needed. Kimberly told Thorne he knew where to find her as she left.

On the jet to Hawaii, Bridget and Brooke were excited about their vacation together. Bridget cryptically told Brooke that the trip could change everything for them. They later arrived at their hotel in Honolulu. Bridget was impressed by the suite, but needed reassurance that Brooke wanted to be there as well. Brooke said she cherished the chance to spend time with her daughter. They would be able to talk about Bridget understanding her mother's choices even if she didn't agree with them. Bridget again mysteriously said things could change for all of them.

Thorne called Brooke at the hotel and told her they had to talk. He couldn't relax, talk to his family or go to work. Brooke promised him they would be together when she returned from Hawaii. In fact, she told him she was planning a party….a private party. "We're going to do it up…and down….and up. Get my drift?" Brooke cooed. (I wasn't aware that Brooke had started her own phone sex line.) Unfortunately, Bridget heard her mother's sweet nothings. She ran into the other room and called Kimberly. Bridget implored Kimberly to capture Thorne…and do it immediately!

Back at the seedy apartment, CJ accused Stephanie of being out of her mind if she thought he'd allow her to take Little Eric away. As they argued, Amber returned. Stephanie explained the magically appearing court order giving her the authority to decide where Amber and the baby lived during Amber's probation. Amber said she was grateful for everything the Forresters had done for her, but she didn't appreciate Stephanie trying to run her life. Amber stood firm that she was not going to leave her home and family. CJ said they simply wouldn't comply with the court order. Stephanie said CJ could be arrested for obstruction of justice if he tried to interfere. Amber told Stephanie that she and CJ and were in love. They were trying to build a future with Little Eric. Amber asked why La Forrester was trying to punish them. Stephanie said she understood how hard Amber and CJ had tried to take care of Little Eric. She said CJ was angry and hostile and it was a bad environment for the baby. Stephanie explained how she had come to the seedy apartment that day to give them the benefit of the doubt. When she simply requested CJ make some safety improvements to the apartment, he had become belligerent. Stephanie thought Amber and CJ should thank the Forrester family for all the help they had given the struggling teens.

Amber said they would repair the apartment and that Rick could visit anytime he wanted. She insisted she would not move into the guest house with Little Eric. Amber pointed out that Stephanie wouldn't let anyone ride rough shod over her family the way Stephanie was doing to her and CJ. Amber said taking the baby away from CJ wouldn't benefit anyone. She pointed out that CJ had lost his sister and wife, but he had always stuck by her and Little Eric. Amber begged Stephanie not to blame CJ for her mistakes.

But Stephanie didn't let up. She said she only wanted to make sure the baby was in a safe environment. Stephanie explained that she didn't want to cause anymore pain to anyone, but she had to consider what was best for Little Eric. As she left the seedy apartment, Stephanie told Amber to be at the guest house by 8:00 that night with Little Eric or she'd call the police and they would put Amber in jail.

Now that's a invitation the Welcome Wagon would not endorse.

Episode Date: Wendesday, September 20, 2000

Legal eagle Connor Davis paid a visit to the seedy apartment. He verified that Stephanie's magically appearing court document granted La Forrester "temporary foster status." The Forresters had Amber's probation amended and Amber had to comply with the terms of the court order for the length of her probation - 1 year. Connor said there was nothing they could do until the following day. He suggested Amber comply with Stephanie's wishes and take Little Eric to the guest house that night.

After Connor left, Amber said she didn't want to live with the Forresters. She and Little Eric belonged with CJ. Amber blamed herself for getting into such a mess but CJ said the Forresters were the one's that had made the mistake. CJ suggested he and Amber hit the road with Little Eric. They were his family and he didn't want to lose them. Amber thought there might be another way to handle the situation.

Over at the Forrester mansion, Stephanie, Eric, Rick and Helen prepared for the baby's arrival. Rick reminded everyone that Amber was stubborn and she might not show up. Eric hoped Amber would not violate her probation. Stephanie had faith Amber would show up. As it grew late, Eric started to call the police to arrest Amber just as there was a knock on the door. Amber entered with Little Eric and CJ. She told the Forresters she would move into the guest house with Little Eric if CJ could move in with them. (Oh, that's really, really good. I'm going to love this!) Everyone, even CJ, was shocked by Amber's proposal.

In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Brooke and Bridget returned to their hotel room after surfing and getting massages. Brooke told Bridget how important their relationship was to her. She explained that Bridget's words about being ashamed of her mother worried her. Brooke said their problems weren't about Thorne, they were about their relationship as mother and daughter. Brooke said she would continue to nurture that relationship even after she and Thorne were married. As they hugged, Bridget looked like she'd eaten a stale Pop-Tart.

But on the California beach, Kimberly prepared to take a shower in her bathroom. As she turned on the water, she wondered to herself how to make Thorne realize she was the woman for him. Kimberly turned off the light in the bathroom, leaving only the bulb in the shower illuminated. And what do you know? Her bathroom has the world's largest window in it. And that window just happens to face Thorne's deck. And Thorne, glistening with sweat, just happened to be on his deck listening to some hot R&B music and sipping a brewski. How could he not notice Kimberly's lithe, youthful silhouette as she seductively rinsed in the shower. (We saw her shadow in the steamy glass shower doors.) Thorne knew Kimberly was aware of his proximity to her oversized…… bathroom window. He figured she was teasing him on purpose. But that didn't stop him from peeping.

Hot and bothered, Thorne retreated to his bedroom where he could still (amazingly enough) see Kimberly showering. He called Brooke in Hawaii and told her he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to announce their engagement at Morgan's fashion show the day Brooke and Bridget returned from their vacation. Thorne then wanted to get married the same day. He couldn't be patient any longer and wanted the three of them to be a family. Brooke understood Thorne's dilemma, but didn't promise him she could comply. As Bridget entered the room, Brooke abruptly hung up on Thorne.

Bridget figured Thorne had been on the phone. She told her mother that marrying Thorne would be a problem for everyone. Every family gathering would be stressful, if they were invited at all. Brooke appreciated her daughter's concern but said she was going to marry Thorne and nothing could change that.

Bridget quickly called Kimberly and told her that her mother had told her she and Thorne were planning a wedding. Kimberly was shocked to hear the news, but had to go when she heard a knock on her door.

Kimberly, now wrapped in a towel and in her bedroom, said "Come in." Thorne burst though a pair of French doors into Kimberly's bedroom. (WHAT?) Kimberly feigned surprise at his arrival. Thorne looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

How big is Kimberly's house? How many set of French doors can one place have? And how can every room in that house face Thorne's house. It must be very long and skinny.

Episode Date: Thursday, September 21, 2000

Panting like a dog in heat in Kimberly's bedroom, Thorne demanded he and Kimberly have a talk. Kimberly had a towel wrapped around herself, but Thorne insisted she get dressed. He handed her a tiny, white, silk robe. Kimberly demurely turned, slipped the robe on and dropped the towel. (I'm thinking a thick, terry cloth towel is much less revealing than a slinky white robe. So what exactly was Thorne thinking?) Thorne said he knew Kimberly had showered for him to see her. Explaining the window shade in the bathroom was broken, Kimberly pointed out that Thorne must have enjoyed her bathing or he wouldn't be in her bedroom. Thorne said he didn't like to be manipulated and he was hoping Kimberly had gotten over her infatuation with him. He wanted to be a friend to Kimberly, but he couldn't take much more of her teasing. Thinking Thorne meant he was ready to accept her virginal offering, Kimberly sat on her bed, slipped her robe off her shoulder and said she had waited for that very moment. Thorne approached Kimberly and set her robe back on her lily-white shoulders. Disappointed, Kimberly said she had been saving herself for a man like Thorne. She knew she truly loved him. Thorne said he was flattered and touched, but there was no chance for them as a couple. He didn't want her to get hurt. Kimberly wailed that Macy's death had changed her. Thorne had helped her find her life again and she wanted to share that life with him. Firmly, Thorne insisted Kimberly stop. He told her that he and Brooke were getting married. They would be announcing their engagement the day of Morgan's showing. Bridget would have to learn to accept his and Brooke's decision - and so would Kimberly. As Kimberly cried, Thorne hugged her, then left.

Alone in her bedroom, Kimberly sat at her dressing table with a puzzled look on her face. "The showing of Morgan's new line…." she said to herself. (Now what does she have in mind? And who really has a dressing table these days?)

At Sally's apartment, Sally and Clarke discussed the Forresters intervention in Amber's probation and the consequences that could befall Amber and CJ if they didn't comply. (You know the deal. It's just two characters recapping what's happened in case you haven't watched the past week of shows. Or if you don't read Mr. Smartypants entertaining updates everyday.)

On to much more exciting action. At the Forrester mansion, Amber repeated her request that CJ live with her and Little Eric in the guest house. (Oops! I just recapped myself.) CJ was stunned at the suggestion and asked if they shouldn't have discussed such an option between themselves. Stephanie, Eric and Rick were against the idea but Amber said she was worried about CJ being separated from his family. Stephanie said it sounded like Amber was making an ultimatum. Amber said the tension between everyone would get worse if CJ were kept away from Little Eric. She only wanted the baby to be surrounded by everyone that loved him. Allowing CJ to visit would not be good enough. She told the Forresters to accept her idea of she'd leave with the baby.

Needing time to discuss strategies, Amber and CJ walked to the other side of the living room. Amber reminded CJ that he had said he would do anything to keep their family together. CJ said he hated the Forresters and he didn't think he could live so close to them. Amber said it was better than being separated. She needed CJ. CJ expressed his love for Amber with a passionate kiss.

Meanwhile in the entry foyer, Rick and Eric were adamant not to accept Amber's proposal. CJ and Amber returned and CJ told the Forresters he would agree with Amber's plan. Stephanie said they would not allow CJ to stay and Eric insisted Amber comply with the court order. (Can anyone please, PLEASE, tell me where that legal document came from?) Screaming that they hadn't even considered her opinion, Amber railed against the Forresters. She accused them of only wanting things their way and if she weren't necessary to make the deal, she was sure they would try and steal Little Eric away from both her and CJ. Amber grabbed the court order and ripped it up! She said no one was going to tell her how to live her life. When Eric threatened to call the police, Amber gleefully told him to do just that. She snapped her sassy girl fingers and told CJ to leave with her and the baby.

As the headed for the door, Stephanie relented and said CJ could stay in the guest house as well. Rick was shocked and told Stephanie she didn't have to agree. Stephanie regretfully said she thought she did have to. As Amber cooed to Little Eric that his daddy would be living with them, Rick walked away and told himself that he would get him back (I'm not sure if he meant he would regain custody of Little Eric or if he would seek revenge on CJ)and he'd get Amber back too. (That "get back" was clearer to understand.)

Episode Date: Friday, September 22, 2000

It's a new, smog-filled day in Los Angeles and strangely enough, Kimberly paid Taylor a visit. (Have they even met before?) Kimberly was curious why Taylor had helped Bridget in her problems with Bridget and Thorne. Taylor cautiously explained that her main concern was for Bridget. Kimberly ranted on and on about how she agreed with Bridget. Making it clear that her opinions didn't have anything to do with Macy's death, Kimberly stated she was certain Brooke would hurt both Bridget and Thorne. Grilled by Taylor, Kimberly said she wasn't mad at Thorne. It had been obvious he loved Macy very much because he had risked his own life to save hers. Kimberly knew that Thorne would be better off without Brooke in her life. Legendary psycho-analyst that she is, Taylor deduced that Kimberly was in love with Thorne (but she can't figure out why Ridge is acting so weird lately) and asked if Kimberly had shared her feelings with Thorne. Kimberly said she had let Thorne know how she felt and if he didn't have so much invested in Brooke, she was certain they would be together. Taylor was skeptical (she is a professional, after all) and asked if Kimberly was confusing gratitude for love. Kimberly said she knew her true feelings and she would be there to help Thorne when his relationship with Brooke crashed and burned. Taylor was dubious. (Can anyone explain exactly why Kimberly went to talk to Taylor?)

Over in Hawaii, Brooke tried to get Bridget to understand the depth of her feelings for Thorne. Bridget told her mother that she loved her and she was worried about her. Bridget further stated that she would never accept Brooke and Thorne's romance. Brooke (a newly named candidate for mother of the year) told Bridget they were not waiting for her approval - in fact, she and Thorne were getting married the next day! Bridget cried that Brooke had never taken her feelings seriously and she would now go live with Eric. Even though Brooke begged her to understand, Bridget knew Brooke had chosen a man over her own daughter. Bridget warned her mother that this relationship would fail like all the others, but this time she would not help her mother pick up the pieces. (Now just for the record, Bridget was so upset when her mother and her half-brother, Ridge, were DIVORCING, that she ran away from home. Eighteen months later, Bridget is so upset that her mother is going to MARRY her half-brother, Thorne, she's going to move out of the house. Has anyone else noticed a change in Bridget's attitude?)

At Forrester Creations, Eric, Ridge and Stephanie clamored about Eric's office preparing dresses for Morgan's showing the next day. (Shouldn't Morgan be there?) Ridge was upset that Dax Stevenson would return for more interviews with his family. (I'm upset too, that actor was horrible.) The three discussed Thorne and Brooke's impact on Bridget. (Yawn.)

Later, Thorne entered the office and found Ridge alone. Thorne told his brother that he and Brooke were planning to wed the next day and the family was invited. Ridge declined the invitation and told Thorne he was making a mistake. Ridge pointed out that there were many people both Thorne and Brooke could love that would not cause so much trouble. Fed up with Ridge's holier-than-thou attitude, Thorne started to leave the office just as Stephanie and Eric returned. Stephanie was thrilled to see Thorne and hugged him tightly. Her happiness was short-lived when Thorne explained that he and Brooke were getting married the next day. Eric railed against his son, telling him how detrimental this relationship was to Bridget. Eric and Ridge stormed out of the office. With tears in her eyes, Stephanie told Thorne she was sorry, she could not support his decision. She left as well.

Brooke then called Thorne on his cell phone. He explained he had told his family about the wedding. Brooke replied that she had told Bridget. Brooke seemed only slightly upset that Bridget now hated her (she's got that mother of the year award wrapped up) and told Thorne she couldn't wait to be his wife. Bridget watched her mother in disgust and stomped out of the hotel room. Alone, Brooke told herself she and Thorne would prove all the nay-sayers wrong.

Sorting through tacky lingerie in the Forrester dressing room, Kimberly received a phone call from Bridget. Bridget told her that Brooke and Thorne were getting married after Morgan's showing the following evening. Kimberly was devastated. Kimberly muttered a couple of "no"s to herself. The first "no" was a "no" of disbelief - like "this can't be happening. The second "no" was a "no" of defiance - like "this IS NOT going to happen."

Monday! Hurry! Quick!

Episode Date: Monday, Setpember 25, 2000

The day of Morgan's showing arrived. It's episodes like today's that remind me why I love The Bold and the Beautiful.

At Forrester Creations, Thorne had returned to work after giving his family an un-used cooling off period. In Brooke's office, Thorne approved a pair of shoes to be sent to Ridge. (Since they were a pair of stilettos, I'm hoping they were an accessory for the fashion show and not for Ridge's personal use. He's too tall to wear heels.) After completing that grueling work activity, Thorne called Brooke. (She was at home, having returned from Hawaii.) They discussed how happy they were to be getting married that night.

Rick came into Brooke's office after Thorne's phone call. He was happy to learn from Thorne that his mother was going to be getting married that night. Rick accepted Thorne's invitation to be his best man. Rick had important boxes to deliver so he left. (In the course of their 2 ½ minute conversation, Rick called Thorne "dude" two times, "man" two times, and "buddy" one time. Thorne referred to Rick as "man" one time and "buddy" one time. What the heck was that about?)

Backstage in the models' dressing room, Kimberly cried at the thought of Thorne marrying Brooke. To the strains of Miss Christina Aguilera' s "I Turn to You", Kimberly remembered all the special times she had shared with Thorne. (That's the second time in as many weeks we've heard Miss Aguilera in connection with Kimberly. I think it's time she paid a visit to Sam Goody and bought a new CD. I'd heartily recommend Miss Lainie Kazan's Greatest Hits.) As Kimberly applied make-up to her tear-stained cheeks, Bridget arrived and told the model she had begged her mother to wait before marrying Thorne. Kimberly hypothesized that Thorne was in a rush to marry Brooke because he was starting to have feelings for her. Bridget suggested they tell Brooke that fact. Kimberly cried that Brooke would not believe them. In tears, Kimberly ran from the dressing room in search of Thorne. Unfortunately, she found him In Brooke's office where Brooke had arrived to cover Thorne with pre-wedding kisses.

In his office, Ridge fiddled with a model's tacky sportswear. Morgan arrived and thanked him for his help. Then Taylor showed up to congratulate Morgan on her big showing. After Morgan left to attend to some important alterations, Ridge asked Taylor to speak to Kimberly. He noticed she was acting strangely and figured she was nervous. Taylor told Ridge that Kimberly was in love with Thorne. (So much for doctor/patient confidentiality.)

In the showing room, Stephanie and Eric prepared for the fashion extravaganza. Stephanie said she couldn't stand the thought of Thorne and Brooke's announcement. She planned to leave before the press got a hold of the story. As the press entered the room, Stephanie fielded questions about Morgan's designs while trying to ignore questions about Thorne and Brooke's promised announcement.

Elsewhere in the showing room, Taylor chatted with Dax Stevens, the reporter doing the articles on her and Ridge. When Morgan appeared, Dax questioned her about Ridge and Taylor's marriage. Uncomfortable, Morgan avoided the inquiries but posed for photos with Taylor.

Backstage in the dressing area, Stephanie found Eric and told him she was having a harder time handling the situation than she had anticipated. She was going to leave. Brooke waltzed backstage and told Eric and Stephanie how happy she and Thorne were. Brooke told La Forrester she was too happy to listen to any insults and flew away. (On her broom?)

Morgan asked Thorne to speak to Kimberly. Morgan had noticed the two of them had gotten close. The designer was concerned the Kimberly was freaking out. Thorne promised to handle the situation.

Rick then showed up backstage and asked Eric and Stephanie if they were attending Thorne and Brooke's wedding. As Eric explained their disapproval of the union, Stephanie noticed a visibly upset Kimberly arguing with Thorne in the distance.

Kimberly told Thorne she couldn't believe he was marrying Brooke when she (Kimberly) and Thorne were starting to get close. Thorne (now definitely out of the running for Mr. Sensitivity 2000) told Kimberly their relationship was all in her head. Stung by his words, Kimberly ran behind the stage curtain. Before Thorne could follow her, Stephanie grabbed his arm and asked what was up with Kimberly. Thorne told his mother she was upset. Eric joined them and asked what was going on. Thorne told his parents he had to find Kimberly and talk to her. After Thorne left to find Kimberly, Ridge and Taylor asked Eric and Stephanie if they had seen the young model. Stephanie said Thorne was trying to talk to her. Taylor told Stephanie and Eric she knew what the problem was and she would tell them later.

Kimberly stood behind the stage curtain and cried. Thorne tried to get her to face the truth. He told her nothing could happen between them. They didn't notice Bridget eavesdropping in the wings. Kimberly said he didn't know that if he didn't give them a chance. She told Thorne he was afraid to explore his feelings for her because he feared he might learn all the time he had devoted to Brooke was a mistake. Kimberly said she didn't know how to get through to him. Impulsively, she kissed him. Thorne did not pull away.

Bridget was shocked at Kimberly's action. But thinking quickly, she grabbed a nearby pulley and lifted the stage curtain. As the curtain went up, everyone in the showing room witnessed the kiss. Eric, Stephanie and Brooke were agog! The photographers snapped photos! The flash bulbs popping startled Kimberly who pulled out of her lip lock. Thorne and Kimberly stood dumbstruck on stage.

I clapped my hands and giggled with glee as I rewound the tape and watched it seven more times.

Episode Date: Tuesday, September 26, 2000

Pandemonium ensued as Thorne and Kimberly were caught in the glare of the photographer's flashbulbs. Thorne pushed Kimberly backstage and stood in the public's gaze searching for Brooke in the audience. Eric and Ridge joined Thorne on the stage as reporters flocked around him. The journalists asked how long he had been dating Kimberly and if their age difference was a problem. Thorne didn't know what to say. When asked how the family felt about the romance, Eric and Ridge both acknowledged that Kimberly was a lovely girl. Thorne spotted Brooke running out of the showing room. He bounded off the stage and ran after her.

Backstage, all the models gossiped about Kimberly and Thorne kissing. Reporters tried to question a confused Morgan, but security guards turned them away. When Morgan learned what had happened, she was not very happy with Kimberly and told her to stay off the runway as she had already caused enough trouble. Ridge questioned if the teen was all right. Kimberly stammered that she didn't really know what had happened.

After Morgan and Ridge were called away to attend to the fashions, Kimberly saw Bridget backstage and realized it must have been Brooke's daughter that had raised the curtain. Upon questioning, Bridget admitted she had exposed Kimberly and Thorne. She apologized for any embarrassment she had caused but said her mother had a right to know the truth. She was certain her mother and Thorne would not be getting married now. Kimberly said they had only kissed. Bridget replied that her mother had pride and could not let any man humiliate her. Kimberly thought it best if she looked for Thorne.

On stage in the showing room, Eric introduced Morgan's fashions. Poor Morgan was horrified to see that the reporters were not paying attention to her clothes. Everyone was chatting about what had happened before the show. Ridge told Morgan to relax. He told himself the family had dodged a bullet that day.

Out in the crowd, Dax (who is that insipid man?) pestered Taylor for details about Thorne and Kimberly. Taylor escaped from bad-actor-hell and joined Eric, Ridge and Stephanie at the back of the show room. Taylor moaned that no one was paying attention to Morgan's designs. Stephanie said she would give up the entire company if it would stop Thorne from marrying Brooke. Stephanie was thrilled at the turn of events and was certain there would be no wedding that evening.

In Sally's office at Spectra Fashions, CJ told his mother that the Forrester's court injunction (that appeared from no where) was legal. Sally was speechless after learning that CJ had moved into the Forrester guest house with Amber and Little Eric. CJ said he wasn't happy about the situation, but he had to try and keep his family together. They discussed Kimberly's involvement with Forrester Creations and ways to get her away from the evil family. Darla entered the office and turned on the television set to watch the Forrester showing. The three were shocked that the main news from the runway was Kimberly and Thorne's kiss.

Back in Brooke's office at Forrester Creations, Thorne tired to explained what had happened. He defended his actions by saying he only allowed the kiss to happen to prove to Kimberly he didn't feel anything for her. Thorne was forced to admit that Kimberly had a crush on him and he had known for some time. Brooke was angry that Kimberly had used her to get closer to Thorne and Thorne knew about it. Brooke was angry that Thorne had chosen their wedding day to make out with a "teeny-bopper." Brooke told Thorne she would not be announcing their engagement and they would not be getting married. Thorne begged Brooke not to over-react. Thorne said he wouldn't do anything to jeopardize their relationship. Brooke cried that he had done that exact thing. Thorne said he wouldn't let this come between them. He told Brooke she could trust him. Brooke sadly replied that she could not.

Brooke gave a touching monologue about waking up happy that day. She had trusted Thorne. She had never felt so secure in a relationship but now this had happened. Brooke said she had done a lot of settling for second best in her life and she did not intend to settle for this. She ran from her office in tears. Thorne chased after her. Kimberly arrived just in time to see them running down the hall.

Oh yeah! This is good.

Episode Date: Wendesday, September 27, 2000

In Brooke's office at Forrester Creations, Thorne tried to call Brooke, but discovered she had turned off her cell phone. Ridge and Stephanie came into the office and wanted to know what was going on between Thorne and Kimberly. Thorne explained Kimberly had a crush on him, but there was nothing going on between them. Ridge and Stephanie pointed out that the kiss appeared to be very passionate. They agreed Kimberly was older than her years. Thorne said he was not romantically interested in Kimberly and he planned to marry Brooke. Stephanie argued that the kiss seemed to indicate there was plenty going on. Ridge suggested Thorne give himself time to sort out his feelings. Thorne told them he was sure he wanted to be with Brooke.

Bridget visited Kimberly at the beach house. Even though she was sorry her mother had been hurt, Bridget said she had to show her what was going on between Thorne and Kimberly. Kimberly was sure Thorne had feelings for her after experiencing his kiss. They agreed the impulsive kiss would change everyone's lives.

In her sporty little Mercedes, Brooke pulled up in front of Kimberly's house. Through her tears, she remembered the entire scene in her office from yesterday's episode where Thorne tried to explain his kiss with Kimberly. (Brooke could have simply logged on to Mr. Smartypants.org to get the more entertaining version.) When the flashback was over, Brooke knocked on Kimberly's door. Bridget didn't want to get caught with the enemy and slipped out through one of Kimberly's numerous sets of French doors.

At the Forrester guest house, Rick donned his tuxedo and prepared for best man duties at Brooke and Thorne's wedding. Rick explained that he really thought Thorne made his mother happy. He was certain Thorne would never let his mother down. Rick hinted that he would do the same with Amber if given another chance. As Rick kissed Amber on the cheek, Bridget arrived and told the news that there would not be a wedding. She explained how Thorne and Kimberly had been kissing on the runway. Rick was upset and insisted they find Brooke. Their mother needed them.

Back at Kimberly's house, Brooke asked what Kimberly had to say for herself. Kimberly said she was sorry Brooke had discovered Thorne's feelings for her (Kimberly ) in that way. Brooke retorted that there wasn't anything between Thorne and Kimberly. Accused by Brooke, Kimberly insisted her "stunt" had nothing to do with seeking revenge on Brooke. Kimberly pointed out the kiss was full of passion. Brooke accused Kimberly of being "angry, precocious and delusional." Brooke suggested Kimberly back off. Kimberly said she and Thorne had grown close. In fact, he had even visited her bedroom after peeking through the window to see her showering. Brooke screamed that Kimberly was lying. Brooke said Kimberly had nothing to offer Thorne and she was in over her head. Kimberly took off the kid gloves and asked, why indeed, would Thorne want a 19 year-old virgin that could give him everything, every part of her body, when he could have someone that had already slept with his father and his brother. (Ouch! The truth hurts. Don't it?)

Brooke was surprised at how manipulative Kimberly could be. Kimberly said she had learned from the best. Brooke had taught her how to play in the big leagues. (Zap! Score another one for Kimberly.) Brooke was sickened by the sight of Kimberly. Kimberly retorted that was probably the exact same thing Stephanie said when Brooke started chasing the Forrester men. (Bop! A direct hit.) Kimberly snorted that she was at the beginning of her life. She inquired where Brooke was.

"Ten steps ahead of you, little girl. And don't you forget it!" Brooke sneered as she slammed the door on her way out. (Touché! Take that, Lolita!)

At the guest house, Rick was distraught to hear of Thorne's betrayal. He figured it couldn't have been a real kiss. Bridget assured him it was indeed a passionate kiss. "They were practically swallowing each other" she recounted. (Interesting picture, no?) Rick yelled that Thorne couldn't do it to his mother and rushed out the door.

Bridget started to leave as well, but Amber wanted to chat a bit. Amber knew Bridget didn't want her mother to marry Thorne. "My family is not going to turn into some Jerry Springer episode" Bridget smirked. (Uh, too late, honey.) Amber said she had seen Bridget and Kimberly talking at Insomnia. She wanted to know if they had talked about Thorne. Bridget grew fidgety and asked Amber's point. Amber simply pointed out that it was such a coincidence the curtain had gone up while Kimberly and Thorne were kissing. Bridget sneered that it was indeed a coincidence and left Amber to her all-knowing thoughts.

At her beach house, Kimberly relaxed on the deck and fondly recalled her hot lip lock with Thorne. Rick appeared on the deck and was sickened by Kimberly's smile. He guessed that she was thinking about Thorne. Rick asked if Kimberly was seeking revenge on his mother. Kimberly assured Rick that she did indeed love Thorne. Rick was upset that she was going after his mother's fiancée and her own sister's husband. Kimberly thought Rick would be glad his mother wasn't getting involved with yet another Forrester man. Rick insisted that Brooke and Thorne loved each other. Kimberly was sorry to report that she didn't think Thorne really wanted to marry Brooke. She felt Thorne was beginning to have feelings for her (Kimberly). Kimberly said she thought Thorne wanted her. She then stated that Thorne could have her - all of her. (Eww!) Rick pursed his lips with anger, cursed Thorne, and stomped out the door.

In his office at Forrester Creations, Eric was upset by the news coverage of the fashion show. Stephanie said the publicity might do the company good and her prayers had been answered. Thorne was interested in another woman. Stephanie thought it was smart for him to chase someone young, fresh and beautiful - and you hadn't been with half the men in the family. (That Stephanie is a pip.) Eric warned his wife not to get her hopes up. Thorne might still marry Brooke. Stephanie said she couldn't leave such important matters in the hands of a 19-year old girl. As she left the office, she said Kimberly needed her guidance and support.

Back at Kimberly's beach house, the 19-year old virgin gazed a wallet-sized photo of Thorne. (He's so dreamy!) Kimberly was surprised when Stephanie knocked on the door. Kimberly apologized to La Forrester for ruining the showing. Stephanie didn't care about that, and she said she hadn't come to judge. She only wanted to know what was going on between Thorne and Kimberly.

At her house, Brooke stared forlornly into the fireplace. Thorne arrived to work things out. Brooke said she had talked with Kimberly and learned of the dinners, gifts and on-going relationship the two had shared. Brooke was upset that Thorne had not confided in her. She asked if Thorne had discouraged the crush. Thorne said he had definitely told Kimberly he only cared for her like a sister. Brooke asked if he had indeed watched Kimberly shower and then burst into her bedroom. Thorne explained that the teen had put on a show for him and he had gone over to tell her to cut it out. Brooke screamed that she had been in Hawaii with Bridget trying to help their relationship while Thorne was in Kimberly's bedroom. Brooke wanted to know why he didn't discuss the issue with her. Thorne said he felt Brooke had her hands full with Bridget and Kimberly's crush was really no big deal. Brooke retorted that it was a big deal and wanted Thorne to admit he as intrigued by Kimberly. She was certainly young, beautiful and had no baggage. Thorne told Brooke he loved only her. Thorne told Brooke she was making to much of the situation. Brooke replied that Thorne was making to little of it. Brooke said she was confused by his actions. Thorne said he would always be there for her, just as he had promised. Brooke said she believed Thorne wanted her to be his wife, but she wondered why. Dejected, Brooke picked up her purse and left through the front door.

It was Thorne's turn to stare into the fireplace when Rick arrived. He swaggered in and pretended he didn't know what had happened. Thorne explained there had been a misunderstanding and his wedding to Brooke had been postponed. Thorne then realized Rick knew what had gone down. Rick yelled that Thorne had promised never to hurt Brooke, but that's exactly what he did. Rick punched Thorne in the face! (What a he-man!) As Thorne reeled on the floor with blood dripping from his lip (Ick!) Rick threatened to kill Thorne for his actions. (NOW who's over-reacting?)

At her beach house, Kimberly insisted to Stephanie that she was not merely infatuated with Thorne. She explained that she was deeply in love with him. It was not a matter of revenge against Brooke. Stephanie listened to the teen, but reminded her there were obstacles in the her way to Thorne - namely her age, her inexperience in love and the fact that Thorne loved Brooke. Kimberly said Thorne was not stupid, he would eventually realize that Brooke was immoral and had a bad track record with romance. He would figure out the relationship could never work. Kimberly said that she was a breath of fresh air compared to Brooke. Kimberly told Stephanie that she and Thorne had a spiritual bond. She felt that Macy's kind spirit had brought them together. Stephanie accepted Kimberly's feelings as charming but naïve. La Forrester expressed "grave concerns" over the difference in Kimberly and Thorne's ages. Kimberly appreciated Stephanie's concerns and asked her to keep an open mind about her. Stephanie was impressed by Kimberly. (Come on you two, I want some plotting against Brooke. Put your head together and take her down!)

Brooke stopped by Taylor's place for some tea and sympathy. Brooke said Thorne had explained his stance, but she had been humiliated. She had trusted Thorne and he had made a fool of her on their wedding day. She now had to explain to Rick and Bridget how the man she had been defending had hurt her so badly. She worried that Bridget would never be able to trust a man after seeing her mother burned so many times. Taylor said Brooke had to resolve the issue with her children first. If she took Thorne's side over them, it might cause permanent damage to their mother/child relationship. Brooke cried that she had never imagined a future without Thorne, and she hoped she would not have to change her plans.

But over at Brooke's house, Thorne told Rick he was not going to fight him after Rick punched him in the jaw. Rick called Thorne a "pervert" for kissing a teenager on the day he had planned to marry Brooke. Bridget came home and opened the front door. She heard Thorne and Rick arguing and worried they might hurt each other. But instead of intervening, she walked to the open patio doors where she could hear better. Rick told Thorne not to blame Kimberly for what had happened. He wanted to know how Thorne could betray them. Rick yelled that he had defended Thorne when the rest of the family had disowned him. Rick called Thorne "sick" and "scum." (What happened to repeated uses of "buddy", "man" and "dude.") Rick screamed that Bridget had been right and ordered Thorne to leave the house. Thorne had enough and told Rick that he should have moved in with Brooke weeks earlier. He said he was sick and tired of Rick and Bridget running his life. Rick said the romance with Brooke with over because his mother would choose him and Bridget over Thorne when push came to shove.

And what do you know? Push came to shove. (Literally and figuratively.) As Rick tried to push Thorne out the door, the two struggled and landed on the floor. Just was Thorne rolled over on top of Rick (hmmm), Brooke walked in the door. She screamed for Thorne to unhand her son. Rick told Brooke to make Thorne leave. Bridget appeared from the patio and agreed with Rick. She insisted Brooke chose between Thorne and her children.

Brooke squinted and debated the dilemma - until Monday.
